Ultrasound Biophysical Profile

A biophysical profile (BPP) is a prenatal ultrasound examination that assesses fetal well-being by evaluating five key fetal parameters: fetal heart rate, fetal movements, fetal tone, breathing movements, and the amount of amniotic fluid surrounding the fetus. It helps monitor fetal health and is particularly useful in high-risk pregnancies to determine the need for further intervention or delivery.
