Ultrasound Early Obstetric (TVS)

An early obstetric ultrasound, also known as Transvaginal Ultrasound (TVS), is performed in early pregnancy (usually within the first trimester) to assess the viability and health of the pregnancy. This procedure involves inserting a probe into the vagina to obtain clearer images of the uterus, ovaries, and developing embryo or fetus. It helps confirm pregnancy, determine gestational age, detect multiple pregnancies, and assess for any early complications such as ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.
